On Friday 21 February, we had the great pleasure in launching Rank’s all-new Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) programme, #BeYourself.
#BeYourself will be key in helping us create a sustainable business relevant for both our customers and colleagues. We have a full programme of events planned, which will ensure that I&D becomes further embedded in all we do here at Rank. From lifting the lid on mental health and galvanising a team of Mental Health First Aiders, to showcasing the value of gender and ethnic diversity to name a few.
Along with some new branding, we’ve created a dedicated #BeYourself hub for all things I&D at Rank on our company intranet (Get Connected) and over the coming weeks and months we’ll be ensuring that we really embed #BeYourself across the Group by further sharing some of the great content we have so far…. our I&D strategy, an insightful Mental Health and Me case study, and a video of some of our colleagues explaining why I&D is important to us at Rank.
We’ve our first #BeYourself I&D event planned for March, Women @ Rank. Hosted by Karen Whitworth, our new non-executive director and delivered in partnership with Inclusive Employers, we’ll be taking a look at some of the challenges our female colleagues can face as they move through key stages of their career. From building a career to starting a family, we’ll be shining the light on some of the difficulties that can accompany these life events and will start to build a network to identify what we can do at Rank to better support those impacted.
It’s an exciting time for us all at Rank and #BeYourself will further strengthen our commitment to building a more inclusive and diverse workplace.
